Popups, warnings, and false security alerts can trigger us to think we have a virus. The best thing to do is to immediately turn the computer off and contact us for a free phone consultation to determine the best course of action based on the series of events that led up to the symptoms.
Files may not open for a variety of reasons. There may be a broken file association between the file and the program it opens with. On a Windows computer, you can search for "Default Programs" in the start menu. Open it, and make sure each program (ie: Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook) has all of its defaults set. If files appear to have scrambled names and will not open, you are likely a victim of a ransomware infection. Call us immediately if this is the case.
Our standard turnaround time for repairs and service when brought in to our shop is 2-3 business days. We offer a priority service for an additional $50 that will expedite your service by placing your computer or equipment at the top of the work queue. Turnaround time cannot be guaranteed as some issues can take several days to resolve.
Our Carry-In Labor Rate is $95/hr. Our diagnostic fee is $95 and includes the first hour of repair. Our On-Site Labor Rate is $133-$145/hr with a one hour minimum. After-hours services are available.
Hosted Microsoft Exchange is a platform to synchronize and share email, calendars, contacts, tasks, and notes. We operate our Hosted Exchange platform in a cluster of servers stored in a secure datacenter facility.
