This is a list of items we require in place in order to successfully support our clients under Managed Service Agreements.

1.) Current Computer Hardware

Computer hardware must be manufactured within the last 5 years of the current date in order to be supported and covered under the terms of the Managed Service Agreement. If equipment is older than 5 years old and in need of support, we will do out best to resolve issues, however, may charge for out-of-scope work as many issues with older computers can be resolved by replacing them.

2.) Current Computer Operating Systems

Computer operating system versions (i.e. Windows 11) must be under active support by their manufacturer (i.e. Microsoft) in order to be supported and covered under the terms of the Managed Service Agreement. If operating systems are no longer supported by their manufacturer, we will do out best to resolve issues, however, may charge for out-of-scope work as many issues with older operating systems can be resolved by upgrading them.

3.) Current Server Hardware

Server hardware must be manufactured within the last 10 years of the current date in order to be supported and covered under the terms of the Managed Service Agreement. If equipment is older than 5 years old and in need of support, we will do out best to resolve issues, however, may charge for out-of-scope work as many issues with older servers can be resolved by replacing them.

4.) Current Server Operating Systems

Server operating system versions (i.e. Windows Server 2022) must be under active support by their manufacturer (i.e. Microsoft) in order to be supported and covered under the terms of the Managed Service Agreement. If operating systems are no longer supported by their manufacturer, we will do out best to resolve issues, however, may charge for out-of-scope work as many issues with older operating systems can be resolved by upgrading them.

5.) Current Network Appliances

Network appliances that are older than 10 years need to be replaced due to the normal wear and tear and advancements in technology.

Network appliances that require a service contract to operate or provide functionality must have an active service contract in place in order to provide their functionality and protections.

6.) Modern Email Provider

Email is an essential part of the business IT environment. Due to the nature of email and the attack landscape it presents, email services used must be a modern email system, such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Using webhost-provided email or other private email servers is not supported or covered under the Managed Service Agreement.

7.) Software Support Agreements

For any software that used by the Client that requires a contract to operate the software and/or receive support, the Client must have a support agreement in place with the party providing the support and/or software.
